Programmer/Analyst (contract)
Projects/Responsibility:
- Product manager and development lead on refactoring and redesign effort of eTime, a homegrown employee time reporting web application used by numerous campus departments to submit and approve timesheets.
- Development of custom application for Billing and Payment Services; designed to ingest and aggregate third party data and provide secure access to the data from a web UI using Visual Studio 2005, ASP.Net, C# with MS SQL backend.
- Design, develop, implement functional prototypes, design templates, style-sheets, coding conventions, online style guide and toolkit for ongoing complete redesign and re-branding effort for departments within the Administration control unit.
- Full rewrite of the COIS website using W3C Web standards compliant XHTML and advanced CSS to speed up content delivery and attain cross-browser functionality.
- Review and modify code to eliminate design inconsistencies introduced during development cycles and to ensure cross-browser functionality.
- Assist in migrating legacy web applications from Classic ASP to ASP.Net.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain moderately complex SQL databases, interactive web applications, and Access database front-ends/reports.
